Ida Damen holds a phd degree in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology. In her dissertation research ‘designing for active office work’, she investigated the role of technology in stimulating and facilitating an active and vital office environment. Her work focuses on design-oriented research with practical relevance. Ida started her position as researcher and lecturer at the Fontys university of applied sciences in 2021. As a researcher she is affiliated with the Workplace Vitality Hub, where she is responsible for the research track ‘Physical Office Environment’.
